On 3/14/2012 the National Park Service had to adjust their March 1, 2012 predictions for the 2012 Washington DC Cherry Blossoms Peak Bloom Period due to warm nights over the past couple of weeks.

Every year hundreds of thousands of people enjoy the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival Washington DC. The 4-5 week event usually lasts fromlate March until late April and with the National Park Service's March 1st predictions, we can expect the bloom period of the wonderful Washington DC Cherry Blossoms for 2012 to be from March 24 to March 31, 2012.
